Monterey Aquarium

Slight change of plan today as the weather channel said tomorrow will be better beach weather. We decided to hit Monterey Bay Aquarium today. Its a great place and even on my third visit I still thoroughly enjoyed my day. The boys  had a good time too, marvelling at the massive tanks filled with the kelp forest and sharks, tuna and all manner of other fish swimming by.

We caught a few live shows there too; first we were introduced to a rescued baby albatross that could not fly due to damaged wings. Then we watched the penguins being fed and finally the boys "petted" a ray.

For me, apart from the huge tanks, the best exhibits were the jellyfish which are so beautifully lit in their tanks.
